Amazing
This is a very good mascara, I impressed how good the wand is. I prefer very thick and sometimes a bit more "clumpy" eye lash look, however this mascara makes my eyelashes separated and pristine. Very good for hooded eye lids when better separation of each eyelash is needed. Would recommend this for sure.

Lash Royalty!!
Shiseido's Imperial Lash Mascara Ink is a serious contender for my lash royalty! The dual-core brush is a star - the rigid center separates lashes, while the flexible bristles coat each one for dramatic length and volume. It takes a few swipes to build to full-on falsie territory, but the result is stunning. My lashes looked long, defined, and fluttery, with a rich black color that lasted all day. Now, the formula isn't waterproof, so keep that in mind for sweaty days or tearjerker movies. But for everyday wear or a glam night out, it's perfect. The price is on the higher end, but the quality and dramatic effect might make it worth the splurge for you!

Seduced by the packaging….
I am only capable of using a mascara that has a silicone brush - hence why I tried this one (also the packaging is divine!!) the shape of the brush is fantastic, it has bristles on the end so you can literally coat every lash. I have blonde eyelashes and this in black covers perfectly, no complaints. However it has no staying power, after a day at work I have black smudges under my eyes without fail. I like this mascara but I will not repurchase.

A Must Try
Finally, a mascara that's not thick & clumpy when applying. Love the tip of the wand with the tiny bristles to get the inner & outer corners. I apply a 2nd coat after a minute or 2 for a bit more dramatic look. Love that this distributes evenly on lashes for a natural look. The case itself is beautiful. Now my favorite mascara.
