Awesome
Really love this cleansing balm. At a cheaper price point than some of the other brands, but just as effective. Gorgeous vibrant colour and a really lovely citrus fragrance to go with it. Removed my makeup very effectively and nice to have that slight exfoliating element in there too

Loved the idea
I love the concept behind this brand and had high hopes for this cleansing balm. I found it too thick and it didn't soften when mixed with water but remained as a thick, greasy paste. I didn't have a problem with the apricot stone powder and could hardly feel this added exfoliant. It was difficult to fully rinse off and my skin had a greasy film still sticking on it despite vigorous washing with a cloth. I needed to use another cleanser afterwards to get my skin clean.

A little too hard to emulsify
I regularly use oil/balm cleansers, followed by a water based cleanser. I find this a little too greasy, it's hard to emulsify with water and I would not use it alone as I feel that without the second step of a water based cleanser there would be a greasy residue on my skin. I do love the ethos of this brand and the packaging.

Not For Me
Like many people my teenage years definitely involved a certain apricot scrub that we've all been told to avoid now... I have a lot of nostalgia for it though. I thought this might be a fun substitute, even though I've avoid physical exfoliants in my facial routine for some time now. It was too strong for me - scent was too strong, the apricot bits were too abrasive, and I really struggled to remove all of it. Even when I double-cleansed after using it I still had apricot bits stuck to my face. It felt quite greasy and oily but not in a rich moisturizing way. I've been using it as a scrub on my legs before shaving but wouldn't buy again just to do that.

Gorgeous product
Love this so much, it smells wonderful, takes off all your makeup and leaves your skin soft. Great for dry skin, also I have very sensitive skin and this has been fine to use. It’s recommended you cleanse with soap after using this so I use an UpCircle soap as well.
