Massage over the face and neck in a light circular motion, then moisten the fingertips and continue to massage into a lather. Remove with a damp cleansing cloth. This product can also be left on the face for a longer period of time as a face mask.

Not great for sensitive skin
I have being using Elemis product for years however sadly this reacted with my skin. I had high hopes as I thought the rose would be soothing. I would not recommend this product.

The best cleansing balm on the market
I simply can’t live without this cleanser. My skin is so nourished when using this. If I run out I can really feel the. I particularly like the rose one as it smells soooo gorgeous. I gave to a friend as a present and now she is obsessed too.

Great balm
Both of the Elemis balms are in my top favourites, this is a lovely relaxing product to use to remove make up gently but thoroughly each night. I have quite heavy eye make up at times and this swiftly dissolves it all with no hesitation. Feels very hydrating and gives a lovely soft scent. I find it to be very similar to the other Elemis balm mainly the scent profile is the difference which is personal preference. Best used for a double cleanse or dotted on at night for a hydration hit.

the Elemis cleansing balm for me
I recently tried Elemis skincare for the first time and I love a lot of the products in the Pro-Collagen family (day cream, day cream with SPF, vitality eye cream). I really liked the the original cleansing balm, but the herbal smell just wasn't for me (even though I typically love herbal smells). I went on a mini-break this weekend so I dug out my samples to take with me and discovered that I had been gifted a nice sized pot of this. It's perfect. It removes makeup and rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed just like the original. But I love, love, love the scent of roses, and this has a beautiful, natural as opposed to synthetic rose scent. I'm very seasonal with my products and fragrances so I will add this to my skincare wardrobe/rotation. I look forward to using this every spring and summer.
