Surprise hit
I did not expect to like this much, as I find the pot version sticky, a pain to apply and overly scented. However the thinner consistency and wand application make all the difference. This is like a cross between a lipgloss and a lip balm. It is more nourishing than a lipgloss tends to be (with more body), but it gives a sheer mily tint and a glossy finish. It is still scented, but not as heavily as the pot baume de rose (thank goodness). I like to pat a little on after my lipstick has worn off a little when I still have pigment, and don't want another layer of lipstick. I get a lighter tint of the same colour with a sheen and a nice moist feel. You don't need to use enough to make the scent annoying, and you can easily do it from the want or with a little on your finger without a mirror. Expensive for the quantity, but it does last quite a while.

Really nice over lipliner

Rose scented cult product
A few years ago this lip balm seemed to be compulsory for all beauty influencers. I was very keen to try it. This tube is handy and hygienic for out and about. It is a lovely texture on the lips and leaves them feeling comfortably. It is very highly scented though. I love the texture but prefer unscented balms.

The By Terry Mini Baume de Rose Lip Care is not that hydrating in my view, though like others say, if you love the rose smell in all By Terry products, this does not let you down there. It is OK as a simple lip gloss on top of a dry pencil or to alter something matte. I would not be happy to pay the current price for someting so small which as a mini, there is not enough product.

highly recommend!!! I bought the mini baume de rose crystalline lip gloss as a present. it is the most perfect size and price point for a present and also looks super nice to receive. It is a of gorgeous product. It is super hydrating so achieves the glossy effect. I bought this product in the store and the team on the shop floor were super helpful in helping me pick out the right size and product.
