Surprise!
I received this foc to trial and review. My initial thoughts were that this was quite a heavy cream which I felt sat on my face. I prefer a lighter texture so not for me. However I have used on on my nearly 60 year old arms……..and I will buy it again as it is fantastic! On elbows and that crepey upper inside section it is brilliant. Maybe not what the manufacturer would want to hear…..but I will buy again so win win.

OK for the price
I received this as a sample to try and used daily for about 2 weeks (mainly morning). I have normal to dry skin and usually use moisturizer as a base under make up. The texture is very thick, and feels almost like a clay mask. I found I had to use quite a bit of product to cover my face. Initially it felt quite heavy and greasy, however I was surprised how quickly it soaked in and that it did not leave any greasy residue. It moisturizes skin but I have not seen any other benefits. It did not cause any irritation/ redness. I let my male partner use it too, and he found it quite good. He tends to get a shiny face, however this moisturizer worked well for him. Perhaps it is more suited to male than female skin. Overall, at this price point it is much better than similarly priced products.

A Good Moisturiser
This rich moisturiser works well on my dry skin. It applies fairly easily to skin and plays nicely with other products. I think this is good for dry skin as it made my skin look fresh and plump and it felt hydrated throughout the day. It would be ideal in winter months when skin gets really dry. A great product at a great price.

Love, love, love!
I've used the same moisturiser for a few years, but having tried several other products from The Ordinary, thought I'd give this a go and I'm so glad I did. It's super nourishing and a lovely texture, somewhere between a cream and an oil. I'll definitely be replacing my current tube when this comes back into stock!

Nice
I have oily, acne prone skin so "rich" moisturisers have always caused me to breakout but no breakouts/reactions here. I used too much at first which made it feel heavy but once I realised a little really does go a long way, it was great. Once absorbed it doesn't feel greasy, my skin just feels hydrated and the size of the tube compared to the price is a no brainier. Love that it doesn't have a fragrance. When it comes to how it feels in the hotter (hopefully) summer months remains to be seen.
