Nourish the skin inside and out with The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%, a multi-tasking skincare serum that works to improve hydration and elasticity. Its main ingredient helps to recycle oxidised vitamin C in order to restore its natural state of activity.
Taken from the pine bark of French maritime pine trees, Pycnogenol® is a natural plant extract containing skin-loving bioflavonoids and organic acids, which work together to rejuvenate the skin. This unique antioxidant searches for and targets harmful free radicals before they have the chance to cause damage by inducing oxidative skin.
This formula is free from silicones, oil and alcohol, and is both vegan and cruelty-free.

strange color and consistency but very effective
This active might seem strange at first – it's an odd orange-red color and doesn't smell like usual stuff. But it's not bad smelling or anything. When you put it on, it feels kind of thin and oily, and the color disappears on your skin. It costs a bit more than their other products, and the bottle is half the size so you might think twice. But I strongly recommend trying it out. I use it at night with other actives (niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, mandelic acid) and can tell the difference, I wake up with soft, glowing skin. Highly recommended

One of The Ordinary's Weirder Products - But WOW!
This is one of The Ordinary's more unusual products. It is a strange orange-red colour, it looks a bit like that old fashioned Betadine they used to put on your cuts when you fell over at school. It also smells odd - I can't put my finger on what it smells like, but while strange it is not too unpleasant. The consistency when it is applied is thin and oily. It is also more expensive than most of The Ordinary's products. So far it doesn't sound so great right? But give it a try - the results are SPECTACULAR! Firm, soft, plump, glowing skin next morning.I use it every night with The Ordinary's Hyaluronic Acid, then Lactic Acid, then Pycnogenol, finished off with a thin layer of prescription Differin. My skin - I am 50 - looks absolutely beautiful!

In love!
I love The Ordinary products and how they make feel but this one is a cut above. My skin feels hydrated and supple and has a lovely glow. I use it after my hyaluronic from The Ordinary and it’s helped me fall in love with my skin care regime all over again.
Best Use: Hydration, Fine Lines
