TLDR: Don't buy this if you don't like the powdery finish of silicone-based products. Think the texture of Smashbox's original photofinish primer X 100. It is true that it didn't leave a white cast. I don't usually leave reviews, but for this one I had to. I am pregnant and was looking for a new mineral sunscreen that leaves no white cast to replace my holy grail Heliocare gel based oil free sunscreen. I typically have combination/oily skin, which has gotten much worse in pregnancy. I thought the powdery finish of this sunscreen would be perfect to combat that. Sadly, I just could not get past the texture. It is SO thick and difficult to rub in. You have to put on so much product to get the desired SPF coverage, and with that texture, it feels like rubbing my face in plaster. Even with my oily skin, this formula felt super drying and cakey. I am sure others will love it, but if you prefer more cream-based sunscreen with a moisturizer-like feel, don't go for this.

nice
I do really like Supergoops sun cream in general, especially this one as it gives off a shiny glowy finish and has a very nice texture. However, I think there are better ones on the market for much less of the price. If you want to spend money, this sun cream is perfect, but otherwise I would save your money..

Lovely SPF
I was gifted this by a friend as she wasn't a fan but I adore this for my daily SPF. No white cast (I'm fair/medium skin tone) on me and it sinks into skin super quickly. Great under make up and doesn't irritate my eyes like a lot of facial SPFs. Will definitely be buying again - and probably trying the glow version!

White cast on skin
I love supergoop sunscreen. My dermatologist said it’s a great brand overall and especially for my skin concerns which are acne dark marks. I use the sunscreen after applying azeliac acid and together they have really helped fade my dark marks. I switched from glowscreen to this one because it’s a mineral sunscreen. I have an olive skin tone and whenever I use this it’s not sheer and actually leaves a bad white cast and makes me look like a ghost. I know that’s probably because I don’t have fair skin but regardless the name of the product including “sheer” made me hopeful that it wouldn’t leave a white cast.

Satin
Love that this product describes itself as giving a satin finish which is more usually associated with a lipstick finish, so its great that the beauty thought is in place of those of us worries about how ashy or white some sunscreens can leave the skin. Very nice to use, would prefer a higher spf.
