Good SPF
I've only recently been applying SPF on a daily basis and this product is lightweight yet effective. I'm not sure how good it would be on a hot summer's day and would probably go a with more traditional sun screen in that weather but for the rest of the year round, this does the job. It also works well on top of other Kiehl's products - particularly the Ultra Facial Cream. Would recommend!

Does not Suit on every skin
I bought it after looking at all the reviews but when I applied it after kiehls own moisturiser it get peeled off like dirt from my skin. I tried it for more than a month but it did not work on my skin.

This is not as ultra light as it claims, its quite moisturising and the texture is a bit thick. It goes well with make up, and the best part is it is physical sunscreen. I live in humid area, so this sunscreen does not suit me as it leaves a greasy layer on my skin. I would recommend if you live in cooler and dry area

Had to throw it :(
A terrible, terrible sunscreen that pills all over. Had to throw it after just a few uses. Maybe if you use it on its own, and not under make up, it is better, however for me it was impossible. It did not play well with textures under (vitamin c) or over it (foundation). I am intrigued at the rave reviews, but it is not a repurchase for me.

very light
I had a 5 ml sample of the ultra light daily defense with SPF50. The strange thing is that it stated that "The lotion not only protects against UVA and UVB rays, but it also helps reduce signs of ageing", but on the cover of the product only identified as UVA. Anyway, it's a very light SPF50. I usually wear day cream first then followed by this product. The texture is really good.
