My skin has a mind of it's own and is super sensitive and reactive to any new products, including any light retinol serums but this magic serum really helped my skin calm down and give it a nice unique glow and even skin tone in nearly 6 weeks now! It has become my go to so quickly with very little application twice a day! It seeps in to the very effortlessly and is not sticky and drying at all! I will always keep going back to this!

So glad this seems to be back for good
I love this product. I occasionally have to use prescription retinol for bacterial acne but in between using that this is what I prefer to use as my retinol product. It’s gentle enough to use every night whilst I work my way back up to using the Medik8 retinal 6 without causing irritation. I wake up with smooth, hydrated skin and see texture fading. It has a lovely scent that I’ve come to associate as part of my evening/night routine so I just associate it with self care and relaxation now too. This was really hard to find late 2022 and through 2023 so I’m glad it seems to be back now!

Too heavy
This serum is definitely not for oily skin. It is very oily and feels heavy once applied. It takes hours for ot to sink in and it leaves shine and greasy residue on my skin. The only good thing about it is that it doesn't congest the pores and has many extracts in the ingredient list. Bakuchiol itself is far from being even a half as effective as retinol so I wouldn't expect any anti-age effect from this serum. Peptides are good but I am wondering whether you can see them in the ingredient list? Because I can't see any.

Nice product
I bought this to use during pregnancy instead of my Medik8 crystal retinal. I have used it for a few weeks now and I don’t think it’s fair to say that it does the same thing as the CR, but it’s still a very nice and effective product. My skin feels bright and nourished, which is great as I’ve found it much drier and more sensitive during pregnancy. It’s a “dry” oil - if that makes sense - so it absorbs really well.
