Does the Job but not Great
I wouldn’t say this provides an ‘ultra blur’ effect. It is however a good powder that sets the under eyes and makeup. It sometimes can be a little drying and makes the makeup seem flat if too much is used. I think I prefer the original formula but this one works well too.

Too yellow for my skin tone
I have fair skin and usually use By Terry in Rosy Light, it's been out of stock for ages so purchased this based on the good reviews I read. I was really disappointed with this powder I could just see and feel it on my skin, I like the barely there effect and it left a yellow hue.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Ultra-Blur truly lives up to its name. I was skeptical at first, but after using it, I am blown away by the results. My skin looks flawless, pores are minimized, and my makeup stays put all day. It's truly amazing and has become a staple in my beauty routine!

Beautiful, light powder
I was recommended to try the Laura Mercier Ultra-Blur powder by a friend, and I'm very glad I did. The powder is light, and never feels 'cakey'. It's very easy to use just a little, with no waste. It really does blur the little imperfections, particularly pores. I'm really very pleased with it, and will purchase it again.

Perfect for Weddings
I don't usually own loose powder, as it's far too messy, so stick to packed powder compacts for day to day and just for matte blurring on my pores (elf perfect finish is a fantastic bargain). I did my own makeup for my wedding though and wanted a loose powder that I could set my whole face with to make it last. I tried pretty much every product on the market and this was my favourite; it really does soften and blur well, but has a slight light reflecting quality that prevents skin looking chalky or flat (it's definitely still matte rather than glowy though, don't worry). It's really finely milled so easy to make disappear into the skin whilst really setting the makeup, and I had no oil or slippage throughout the day. Most importantly, I had no flashback in photos; I tested several with arm swatches as find that clearer than on face and even with a really dense Swatch, there was only a barely visible white cast, in stark contrast to others. Fully recommended trying it out.
