Hydra Primer
On the search for a best primer for oily skin I have tested this full size primer. It certainly hydrates, smoothes and evens out skin, shrinks pores. It does mattify but it is not a lasting effect on my oily skin. This primer would not fully absorb into my skin and leave white peeling residue - perhaps it is not compatible with my moisturiser from a different brand? I would also prefer, especially for the summer, a primer with spf. I am glad I have tried this primer, but I do not consider buying agin. I would recommend that you try a sample before you buy a full size.

Doesn’t do anything
I actually don’t understand the point of this primer. It’s actually quite an average product and doesn’t really do anything. No visible blurring or even noticeable difference in the texture. It doesn’t even hydrate and forms goopy silicone like texture when rubbed into the skin. I love their powder but this primer is too bad.

Baby soft
I use this primer virtually everyday when I wear makeup. It’s has such a soft silky texture that glides well on the skin and hydra properties to plump and hydrate my skin. It’s color less and works wonders as a base for my makeup and hides any fine lines. My foundation glides on effortlessly and looks perfect. For me the tube lasts forever and is a great product to base any makeup look.

Good hold
I have sensitive skin but oily, foundation seems to not last for long but I found this product works wonders. A small amount goes along way applying it to areas where my makeup doesn’t last. This product melts easily into the skin, though I will say I use the By Terry Foundation to go with and the combination works fantastic. I couldn’t say how it works with other brands.

Soooooooooo good 😊
I love By Terry products and am slowly growing my product range. As I have the foundation I wondered if I should use this instead of my regular Laura Mercier (again love and have been using Laura Mercier for 10+ years). This is something different entirely. The texture is light and yet velvet, and it sinks into the skin (pat it it/don't rub). I can only describe it as actual polyfiller for open pores. Brilliance. I usually mix a drop of this with the foundation to 'dilute' the foundation to imperceptible makeup. Also sometimes tap over under eye concealer instead of powder as this dries to matt - and formulated with hyaluronic acid
