A little goes a long way
I received a sample of this with a purchase. I don’t tend to use a separate primer, I just make sure I prep my skin with the appropriate hydrating skincare. My first impression was that it was just too shiny, but once I layered my foundation on top I quite liked the effect. The second time I used it I only used the tiniest amount and I liked that effect more. I guess it depends what kind of finish you prefer.

Highlights my trouble areas
I just can't get on board with this product. It is very shimmery, so does give a 'glow' but I find the shininess highlights my (larger) pores, any spots or bumps, and just makes my combo skin look greasy. I suppose if you like very dewy/shiny looks then this is for you, but I personally can't stand the shine. It is not a bad product, just not for me.

I don’t understand
I got this in a Caroline Hirons kit but I don’t think it really does anything. It makes my skin look dewy (that’ll be the shimmer) but then so does a moisturiser. I don’t rate it as a primer. Made no difference to foundation application or longevity. So I just don’t really understand the point of the product to be honest. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Best glow
I absolutely LOVE Vieve's Skin Nova. I have it in the lightest shade. The texture is light, but instantly hydrating and makes your skin look and feel soft, smooth, plumped and glowing. Excellent base for make-up. Now a firm fixture on my Repeat Purchase list.

I received a mini version of this as a gift w/purchase. It's OK, it does the basics I'd expect from any primer but I found it very underwhelming. It has a little glow but not enough that made it noticeable if wearing with full foundation. It didn't really do much to improve the application or longevity of my makeup compared to other (and some notably cheaper) primers. Compared to two other primers in the gift pack this was the least impressive so wouldn't choose to purchase.
