Expensive mistake

I really got caught up in the hype of this product, but I really can’t see what it is actually doing to my skin! I’m not normally one for using a primer, but disappointingly I still have the same pores and wrinkles after application and you need so little, I have enough of this to haunt me for a lifetime. I am still easily influenced though, so continue to trawl this wonderful website for the NEXT BEST THING!

Worth the hype

The Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer is truly a game-changer in my daily makeup routine. A little goes a long way with this product, making it worth every penny. I've tried other primers in the past, but I always come back to this one because it's simply amazing. It has a silky smooth texture that creates a flawless base for my makeup, and it's also packed with natural ingredients that protect and nourish my skin. Overall, I highly recommend the Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer to anyone looking to elevate their makeup game.

Not my favourite

I had hopes because of all the great reviews but unfortunately on me it is only average. Maybe it blurs, but at the same time it makes my skin feel silicone-y and dehydrated. I’ve tried it under a few foundations, and I can only link my disappointment with the fact that I use tretinoin and prefer a glowy finish.

VERY LIGHt

You need to use the small spatula provided on top of the pack as otherwise you will look too fair or have that "banana powder" effect on top of your make up, which is what you do not want. Really good primer to be used in combination with any other make up and quite lighweight as well.

Favourite primer

On initial application I did not like this primer at all, mainly because I used too much of it and it started giving me a weird skin texture. I tried it again with the smallest amount rolling it into my pores and I was blown away at the way it blurs everything. So the trick is to use a little bit as a little goes a long way.
