like a balm - not really a lipstick
I have purchased this product when it was discounted but now I regret I did not buy a lip chic instead. It is more like a balm, very solid coverage, and the pigmentation when used is not consistent, so some parts of the lips are covered, some aren't. Yes, it is hydrating but I don't recommend.

Great colours and nourishing
I have these in several colours and they are so beautiful and nourishing to wear. However, once the temperature gets to a certain point they do tend to melt in the tube and on the lips so that they are difficult to use and can slide around. Saying that, Papaya is my all-time favourite orange-red and I wear it all year. I hope it's not discontinued!

Lip balm
I bought this product in the sale which I could justify the pricing for. I was expecting a more deeper pigmented color and not a more tinted lip balm. The color is great for a more relaxed sunday makeup look. The packaging is beautiful as always, but that really where the money is being spent.

Light coverage, but hydrating - more like a lip balm
This is my first Chantecaille product and I really like it. The coverage is very light and very hydrating. It feels more like a tinted lip balm. I bought it in the sales and now I wonder that I should have purchased a lip chic instead as I prefer a fuller coverage. Still I recommend this product for a price in a discount. I would not purchase it for a full price.

Super colour!
I got this to replace a lipstick queen lipstick of mine that has been discontinued. Super texture as it’s nice and sheer which for me with a red is ideal. It’s an orangey red as opposed to pinky which is my favourite type of red. It’s not too heavy as sheer so great, I like this look.
