Gentle on the eyes

I chose this because I struggle to find a cleanser that also takes off eye makeup (because I am lazy and prefer to do one cleanse for everything...). It is silky, and I find it takes off light eye make up (regular usage is Hourglass eye shadow and liquid eyeliner, plus Caution mascara) if you use enough of it and give it a decent massage in. I have taken off a star as it is relatively pricey compared to some cleansers (like Fresh Soy, which I also love). But it does look gorgeous on the bathroom shelf!

Best Use: Reduce Dullness, Minimise Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Love tatcha

This oil cleanser is gentle . It won’t remove heavy make up (eg eyes) unless part of. Multi cleanse. I use it in the mornings on dry skin and then wash off and follow with the rice cleanser. A little goes a long way , a few drops and massage onto skin. This bottle has lasted since September. Skin is left soft and clear.

Just not for me

I’m a massive fan of the Tatcha brand, but this product just isn’t for me. As a cleanser, I found it too thin, too oily and far too easy to waste accidentally. It was also ineffective as a make-up remover - I always ended up having to use another cleanser/make-up remover to get rid of the make-up that this product failed to dissolve.

Lovely cleansing oil

Such a lovely silky cleansing oil, lovely texture and feel on skin. Doesn't leave skin feeling like it has cleanser left on it when you wash it off which I love. Doesn't strip skin. Very mild fragrance. Perfect for this colder weather we are having. Would repurchase.

Best Use: Hydrating, Barrier Repair, Anti-Aging

Great and gentle first cleanse

I bought this cleansing oil from Tatcha in the Space NK Tatcha pop up shop in Covent Garden, after hearing Caroline Hirons rave about it. Everything she said was true. This is a great first cleanse. It is non stripping and really gets rid of all SPF and make up without making your skin feel tight afterwards. I use a cleansing cloth (flannel) to take it off, with lukewarm water.

Best Use: Hydrating, Barrier Repair
