It does nothing
I really wanted to like this product because the idea of a gentle retinoid sounded great (I have really sensitive skin and the last area I want to upset is the skin under my eyes), but I don't think that this product does anything so I'm just disappointed. I used it almost every day for 6 months and nada happened - Medik8 is much better.

Good product design
I love the idea of roller application for eye, this one has a very nice and sleek design, very easy to apply, possibly also because the consistency is oil. I have been using it for a week and yet to see drastic changes in reducing winkles etc but it is very pleasant to use. I had a bad sun burn about a week ago and the skin around my eyes was in a terrible condition, this does help with recovery but I felt that it is not so powerful if you are looking for a strong product to reduce winkle

Good, natural but expensive
I bought this after receiving a sample. I have many cleansing votary products and wanted to complete the set. I like it on many levels - packaging that can be recycled. The dispensing end has a stainless steel type roller ball - it is feels cold and lovely on the skin and applies it directly to the eye area. The oil is incredibly light and doesn’t cause any puffiness or eye irritation. It does reduce wrinkles, but I wouldn’t say it was amazing but then I haven’t tried that many eye treatments to compare it to. It’s lasting a very long time and I would recommend it but I am not sure it’s worth the money.

Nothing special
There is absolutely nothing extraordinary about this eye oil. It smells nice and absorbs nicely, but at over £100 for only 9ml of product it’s very expensive for what it is! I would rather use my other vitamin A products closer to the eye area and follow with a hydrating eye cream.

Not worth it
I’ve been putting this review off as I love Votary and wanted to love this. So firstly, I like others, I do not find this irritates my eye area. It feels nice going on, I like the smell and it soothes the eye area nicely. I love using Votary products, they are luxurious and use natural, clean ingredients. However I don’t really have any skin problems, so never know if they actually do more than cheaper, simple high street brands. My eye are is my problem area. Dark circles and fine lines, and terrible smile lines. So I was super excited to treat myself to this, whist aware it would not perform miracles. I’ve been using it for nearly 3 months now, and I can honestly say I haven’t noticed a difference at all. I also don’t even feel an instant firming effect upon application. So whilst it feels and smells pleasant to apply, and will last a long time because of the applicator roller ball, it simply is not worth the price tag.
