Would recommend the softer cream moisturiser as it is easier to apply, you only need such a small amount compared to other similar priced creams so a little goes a long way

Worth the hype
I used to have perfect skin that people would always comment about - but I never appreciated it. Then I hit my 40s and people began to comment less and less and then....not at all. After using this for about 2 months (I'm now 47), four people commented on how glowing and lovely my skin looked in the space of 2 weeks ....so I see this as no coincidence! It's just a pity it's so expensive.

Hydrating
I adore creme de la mer moisturising cream and believe it's great for my combination skin. It smells great, and while it doesn't leave a strange layer on my skin, it absorbs easily and sits perfectly under makeup so it doesn't look cakey. But it is quite pricey for what you get and is seldom discounted. It's something I'd buy for myself on a really special occasion.

Repairs and hydrates
Yes it’s expensive but it does work. Stiff in texture when scooped out then as soon as you work the cream with the heat of your fingers it melts into a wonderful balm. Whenever I have problem skin or a blemish that takes longer to heal this seems to speed up the healing process. It’s comfortable on the skin and gives a nice glow. The smell is comforting and fresh.

Not for me
I was so excited to try this product from my calendar that I keep saving it. It is a lovely cream, pleasant smell, but it’s just too heavy. It takes ages to sink in so there is no good time to apply it unless you have a super long routine. I can’t say I noticed any benefit but that’s just me. I really wanted to love it as it has such a reputation but just too rich and thick for my skin
