The best for dry skin!

just meh..
I bought this in the winter to help with the harsh UK cold. At first i was massively impressed by its instant moisture boost and how long it would last (literally ALL day!), but over time noticed i had started to break out more than usual. It would also leave me feeling a bit oily and it was so thick that i would find it hard to spread evenly over my skin. Great moisture but broke me out :/

Instant barrier boost
This has the most gorgeous luxury feel to it at a very reasonable price tag. The ceramides provide an instant burst of hydration whilst acting as a rich occlusive to lock in the moisture. Will always come back to this product when my barrier is feeling impaired

A year on, it's a no for me.
I have been using this for over 6 months on my acne-prone normal-dry skin. I bought it thinking it would be good for the dry Canadian weather. At first I liked the heavy moisturizing feeling, but over time realized that it has been breaking me out (my boyfriend noticed this with his skin too). I stopped using it a couple of months ago and immediately noticed my skin improve in the first 2 weeks...honestly disheartening. It is also incredibly hard to actually spread it across the skin, leaving my skin feeling oddly dry but also greasy at the same time. I'm making do with the remainder of my tube by using a tiny dab of this on wet hands then swiping across my face like a serum. I'm buying the regular HA version today and never going back.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does moisturize my face and help it appear plumper but I find it overpriced for the brand and quality of ingredients it contains. It also just sits on my skin rather than becoming absorbed deep
