I seem to be in the minority in my opinion of this face cream. I have normal, slightly sensitive skin. I found this cream to be very average. The texture was nice but I felt is sat a little on the surface of my skin, so not easily absorbed which meant I could not apply make up after it. I was expecting a lot and was a bit disappointed. It did not irritate my skin though, which is a plus.

For dry skin
If you have dry skin then by all means go for this cream, it's great. My mom who has dryer skin than me really enjoyed it. she used it day and night and she looked plump and youthfull. I on the other hand found it too heavy, my skin is combination and it was just too much. Beware if you have oilier skin or skin that is prone to blackheads.

Very nourishing, but not for oily skin
This leaves skin super soft and hydrated and feels very rich and nourishing. I also really liked the scent. I found this too heavy on my oily/combination skin for day use so used it as a night cream only which I liked at first, but found it did give me blackheads and congested skin after a few days. I wouldn't repurchase this for myself, but have recommended it to friends with drier skin than mine as I think it would be excellent for those skin types.

Excellent face cream
I’m such a big fan of shiseido’s products and this face cream is no exception. It is certainly a bit on the pricey side but a little goes a long way. I especially use it at night as I find it sinks into my skin , making it lovely and supple the following day.
