Correct uneven skin tones with The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2%, an exfoliating lightweight serum that works to minimise uneven texture through the help of Tasmanian pepperberry.
In addition, purified Tasmanian pepperberry works to reduce signs of sensitivity and inflammation commonly associated with exfoliation. The ingredient helps to reduce the irritation often caused by acid use. Because it is a derivative of plant origin, it can vary in colour on a seasonal basis.
The Ordinary Lactic Acid 5% + HA 2% helps to promote cell regeneration and reduce the appearance of pigmentation to improve the overall look and feel of the skin’s texture. This formula is free from oil, silicone and alcohol, and is also vegan and cruelty-free.
Key Benefits
- Gently exfoliates the skin
- Formulated with Tasmanian pepperberry to help reduce inflammation

Mild exfoliant
This product is great for people with sensitive skin! Tried it and didn't get any irritation at all. Gave me bright skin that lasted until the next day. For my oily skin tho I think I prefer BHA since I have blackheads and acne. Still good overall tho! Would recommend it.

Great for texture
My skin doesn't tolerate salicylic acid as it breaks me out, but this lactic acid helped a lot with my texture. I struggled for years with those small bumps on my forehead and this cleared them right up! It also helped reduce my mild acne, but it didn't completely clear everything up. It has a thin texture and although it did sting a bit at first, it didn't irritate my skin unless it was broken

So effective for such a small price
I was pleasantly surprised the next morning after trying this that my skin texture looked smoother and my pores looked a little bit clearer. I wasn't sure how well this was going to work if it was going to work at all because of the low price tag. But I am happy with the results! This is going to become one of my staples in my skin cycling routine. Highly recommend the product, but maybe not if you have sensitive skin. Mine tingled for about 5-10 minutes after applying so it doesn't feel like something I could use everyday.
Best Use: Uneven Skin Texture, Visible Pores

Weird Experience
The Ordinary Lactic Acid Serum is a great affordable option, but unfortunately, it irritated my skin even with limited use. Although it didn't cause redness or inflammation, my skin felt uncomfortably tight beneath the surface. However, it's worth noting that skin reactions are subjective. It's supposed to have hydrating properties, making it recommended for dry skin types. Overall, a decent lactic acid serum, but be cautious if you have sensitive skin. 4 stars.
