Legit the BEST non-prescription retinal I’ve tried
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I usually cannot use retinals. I have been using Retin-a micro 0.06% gel from the age of 17 years old until now at 38 years old. The retina I usually use is only available through prescription or samples that we get in the offices I work for. Recently our retin-a micro rep told our office that they will no longer be making sample sizes and this killed my heart. Because I am no longer under the age of 21 years old, insurance will not cover retin-a micro as an acne medication RX, even though this is mainly what I use retin-a gel for my breakouts. At 38 years old insurance looks at this type of product as an anti-aging product (which to be fair, it is). However, retin-a micro works wonders on people who have oily acne prone skin. In the past I have tried generic retin-a, retinols, tazota, but my skin does not agree with the emolients in the generic products. They anger my face and then I break out. Not only this, the generic RX’s for the retinol family usually come in heavy creams (I have no idea why but they are usually white paste textures) and when they aren’t in cream texture they come in this clear gel that tends to be overly drying for me. Some of my patients have also agreed. The issue with retin-a micro gel, even though I love it- to fill one RX tube you are looking at paying in between $800-$1200 for a tube that is 0.5-1 oz only! That’s highway robbery!!! My birthday was in March, and I discovered this skin care line from the yearly Sephora gift I picked up. I love it so much that I wanted more so I used my birthday gift card that my mother-in-law gifted me for my birthday to purchase the cleanser. I still had money left over on my gift card so I decided to purchase a small tube of Retinal. I did not think I would like this product tbh, but I love it. This product is the most comparable to the retin/a micro gel that I have been using all these years. lol even the color! The color does tend to be a litter brighter, but even the texture is the same! It’s a light gel base. It’s not one of those really strong gels, and it’s also not a heavy cream. What I also like about this company is the fact that they are vegan and do not test on animals. Seems like a win win to me. As a licensed medical aesthetician of 20 years and a cosmetic dermatologist physician assistant who has been taking patients for the past 6 years, in my professional opinion- I would highly recommend this product , and already have done so with a lot of my patients. When I believe in a product I will promote the you know what out of it! Keep these products going! Do not change anything in the formulations. They are PERFECT the way they are. I’m in love with this skincare line. You guys are legit one of my FAVORITE skin care lines right now!!!

Non irritating retinol!
I got the travel size to try. My skin felt so smooth the next morning and wasn’t irritated at all even though I have sensitive skin. I have been using once/week. I use it with the cactus serum and super berry mask.
