Perfect for oily/combination skin!
I’ve tried so many SPF’s over the last few years that claim to be for oily/combination skin, and they’ve all come far short of expectations in one way or another, mostly leaving my skin feeling tacky. This mineral mattescreen is what I’ve been searching for, I use it over my normal sconce routine (including moisturiser), which was important to me as I’ve just perfected it and didn’t want an SPF to disrupt it. It feels gorgeous going on the skin, with a slight tint that will be sufficient for low/no makeup days, but also sits so well under my powder foundation, you wouldn’t know it’s there. I just make sure to give it 5 minutes to soak in before I apply anything else, and it’s perfect…no pilling at all.

I love a mineral sunscreen, but it can be tricky to find ones that are not too difficult to rub in and it don’t have a white cast. I like that this one is matte and doesn’t make me greasy. The texture is nice and light and I can use it every day with no issues or breakouts.

Better than other similar products
It is giving my combination skin matte finish and SPF protection is quite good, but the texture is not great - it is a little paste like (with silicon-y feeling) and it is not easy to apply the right amount and make it look good, especially if you try to apply make up after. The tint is okay, it didn't make my fair complexion darker or anything like that, I guess tint is only to prevent white cast typical for mineral sunscreen. The formulation is more elegant than most tinted mineral sunscreens, but still it is far from perfect.

My skin loves this. It provides enough protection throughout the year and it is a good base for make up. It is also very hydrating and does not leave a white cast (but I have a fair complexion). This is hands down one of the best mineral sunscreen formulations I've tried so far and I've tried plenty because that is the only spf that does not aggravate my hormonal acne (most of chemical spf filters tend to do that).

matte sunscreen
this is the mineral sunscreen you need to buy, it does absorb and leave a matte finish on your skin as promised so it does its job- if you are looking for one buy it. I would take one star off because it is quite pricey and it is based on your taste, it did pile a bit under my makeup unfortunately.
