I’ve tried a few tanning products from this range and have liked most but sadly this isn’t one. I found the scent very overpowering to start with and after a few build up uses I felt it slightly irritated my skin …a few spots. I didn’t think it tanned that nicely either. Defo do a patch test. Wouldn’t recommend.

broke me out!
Yeah, definitely patch test this. My face/neck broke out SO bad in tiny red bumps. My face felt like sandpaper, it was so sad. Fortunately, I reduced my skincare to the essentials and used hydrocortisone cream, and it healed in a few days. I used the spray on my legs/body from the same brand with no issue, so not sure why this did that.
Ditch the trowel
Not as good as the drops
I purchased this because I find the tan drops to be really effective but you do get a bit of a build up which can be hard to remove. I thought the serum would be effective for ordinary day wear but I’m not convinced by this product and I wondered if it was giving me spots as it was the only new product I could attribute to tiny spots I was getting. Maybe you need to persevere with this but I will be sticking to the tan drops which I like mixing with moisturiser or foundation.

Gives a lovely glow
I love anything that’s going to help me look healthy and glowing without looking orange and Isle of Paradise really get this right! Love this product because it doubles as a hydrating serum, and really helps to keep my skin hydrated during the day. And gives that hint of glow! But it is heavily fragranced which is why I knocked off a star. Still a great product, just find the scent overpowering at times.
