Very Luxe
This candle is ideal for Autumn / Winter, as the leaves start to fall and temperatures drop I crack out this scent! It is so enveloping and comforting, it really does smell like a open wood fire! The vessel is very grand, as you'd expect from Diptyque and makes a statement where ever its placed in your house (I always get compliments on it) and contrary to other opinions I think these 1.5KG candles are good value for money too.

I really love this candle. Had it on my wish list for a long time and finally bought it with Christmas money. It smells wonderful and also looks great on my coffee table even when it’s not lit. Definitely a splurge but I know I will keep the candle jar and repurpose once the candle has fully burnt down.

Warm log fires scent, beautiful vessel, but…
I bought this to use over winter. It’s a lovely true crackling log fire scent, warm and inviting. The vessel is also beautiful, and definitely something to keep and repurpose. I bought this large candle thinking it would last all winter, but it burnt down very quickly. I kept the wicks trimmed, but on four occasions the surface resembled the surface of the moon as the flames were large and melted and used up the wax very quickly. I would say half the candle as used up in just these four burns. Which was very disappointing for something that should be high quality. I have some other large candles to use, so hopefully it won’t be a repeat experience.
Beautiful
Feu de bois isn't my favourite of the Diptyque scents but the jar is just beautiful - I tend to go for more florals but this is actually quite comforting in the winter as it really does give the feeling that you're sitting round and open fire with the woody scent. I can't wait to repurpose the jar once its finished as that was my main purpose with this purchase but I'm pleased to be enjoying it in the meantime!
