Description

Cover the nose and mouth with Slip Reusable Silk Face Covering, a luxuriously soft face mask designed for supreme comfort.

The outside of this elegant face covering is made of Slipsilk™, which uses 100% mulberry silk and has been specially developed and refined over 10 years for superior shine, thickness, softness and durability. The lining of the mask is made from 100% cotton to avoid irritation and help with breathability, while an adjustable nose wire and elastic ear loops allow for a perfect fit for comfortable, long-term wear.

This face covering is also machine washable for convenience and includes 10 spare nose wires and two silicone stoppers to adjust the ear loops.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So expensive and so truly horrible to wear Bought this as I thought a silk mask would be comfy and not too sweaty, and also because I’d read that a silk/cotton layered face covering was probably a pretty effective combination for preventing the virus spreading. I have to say that this is the most uncomfortable mask of any I’ve used so far. It’s so thick that its pretty much impossible to breathe whilst wearing it. It visibly sucks in when you take a breath, making me feel like Hannibal Lecter. We’ve all given it a try in the family cos I thought maybe I was being over fussy, but everyone agreed that it’s far too oppressive to wear even for a short length of time. I’m not sure what the return policy is on face coverings but this was an incredibly expensive waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I bought this because being silk I'm hoping it will feel more breathable than masks in other fabrics and won't irritate my skin as much. I certainly feel better wearing it, it's comfortable and feels really nice against the skin, it fits well and looks nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for these days We all suffer this period of time during Covid19. We need to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Because surgical masks are so hard to find (and so expensive) and you need to change them 2-3 times a day I tried this reusable silk face covering in black color. First of all, silk is so soft fabric in touch and feel. Secondly, for me black is the best color because using a lighter color won't look so good for me as I use make up and there will be traces of make up. Thirdly, I can wash it all times and use it again and again. One negative is the price but it is worth it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it. This is not an essential purchase. You can buy cheap masks everywhere. However I really like mine and am really pleased I ordered it. I’d rather feel pretty and comfortable with one on. The pink is a gorgeous colour. The silk is gorgeous against your skin. It comes with extra stoppers and metal strips (not sure what the metal strips are for yet) but I like all the spares which will help with longevity. I’m going to order the grey one too. So I can wash n wear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not worth the price for me I bought this one because it looked a bit posh and felt like buying myself something comfortable to wear while we all have to cover our moths and noses. It looks pretty and feels even better, but I wish I'd saved my money and just bought a normal fabric one. It's nice but certainly not necessary when there are masks that are just as pretty for a quarter of the price
