Your Questions, Answered

Whilst it pairs perfectly with lipstick, lip liner is one versatile makeup tool. You can team it with a lip balm or lip gloss to create a more polished look or ombré effect. Plus, you’ll find some lip liners are creamy enough to be worn on their own. Using a lip liner not only helps lipstick last longer, makes lips look plumper and creates more definition – it can also help prevent the lip product of your choice to settle into fine lines.

To apply lip liner, start tracing on your lips’ natural border from either the inner corner of your lips or your cupid’s bow with short and light strokes. Depending on the look you’re after, you can retrace for even more definition. For fuller lips, try drawing just above your natural lip line and make sure you don’t overline your corners. Fuse it out with a small blending brush or your fingers for a natural finish.
