How to Apply

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply immediately after swimming, sweating or towel drying or at least every 2 hours.

I've switched to mineral sunscreens after I became very sensitive to my usual sunscreen, which had a combination of physical and chemical ingredients. I did try Ren's Clean Screen SPF but sadly it left a white cast. With brighter days, I wanted a mineral sunscreen with a higher SPF. So glad I took a chance and ordered this! It suits my combination, hyper-pigmented skin well, absorbs fairly quickly and does not leave a white cast! For reference I'm about an NC42/Estee Lauder Cashew, Fenty foundation shade 300). It feels quite thick and creamy when it goes on, but I can't feel it on my skin now. In addition to all this, it's cruelty-free and reef safe, something I'd not appreciated until now. This is now my sunscreen of choice. The cost is worth it so treat yourself. Well done Soleil Toujours!

I have wasted so much money on high end brands in hope of something that my face would tolerate. Last summer I used ByTerry SPF 50 primer, which suited my skin but I somehow still got sun spots and a burnt forehead. It wasn’t really strong enough. I read reviews carefully and decided on this. There are only a few reviews for it but having used it consistently for 3 days, I agree that it is the best I have tried. It is more like a proper, thick sun cream than the By Terry primer but the protection is stronger. It takes a while to sink in, so best for no makeup days. If you have sensitive skin and want a really good sunblock for you face that moisturises and doesn’t irritate, then buy this!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hazey from Brilliant sunscreen, premium ingredients This sunscreen has no nasty chemical sunblock in, just physical block and natural ingredients. It's moisturising to the skin. Live it. Amazing if you are pregnant and want to avoid nasty chemicals on your skin everyday. I suffer from melasma so.need to use a powerful sunscreen everyday. This looks beautiful under my mineral make up, it's not greasy and blends into my fair skin very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mgesle from I'm on my 3rd bottle This is simply the best facial sunscreen I've ever used: it's hydrating but not greasy, has mineral ingredients but easily blends into the skin and I've never burnt while wearing it. Love that it's cruelty-free and vegan. I layer it on first thing every single day summer to winter and it makes a fantastic base, though I usually also apply a long-wearing primer on top. One bottle usually lasts me about four to five months, depending on the season. The packaging is a little bit annoying when you get to the end as it's hard to squeeze, but the upside is it doesn't spill or leak. The price tag is steep but sunscreen is so important to protect your skin and prevent ageing so in my mind it's worth it - even more so than an expensive moisturiser or serum. I've tried cheaper formulas and have always come back, so I'll probably stick with it as long as it's available!

Rated 5 out of 5 by French Emilie from Great facial sunscreen I bought this to use on a recent holiday. It is a lovely facial spf, which I have used as my daily face cream while on holiday. I had no breakout and my face felt hydrated and nice. It didn't leave a white cast which is a bonus. On the days I wore make up, it turned out to be a great primer! This product is also coral reef safe! The bottle is semi rigid which is great for travelling, however this might make the product hard to get out towards the end. I will carry on using this as my face cream through the summer!
