Description

Welcome in the festive season with the Jo Loves Christmas Layered Candle, a unique home fragrance that contains three of the brand’s best-loved seasonal scents in one candle.

As the candle begins to burn, the story of Christmas is told in its three distinct layers. First, the stimulating aroma of fresh pine trees fills the air, balanced by incense and lavender to mimic the scent of a Christmas tree. Next, it moves to a heart of caramelised sugar and candied fruits to evoke the smells of plum pudding baking in the oven. Finally, the scent journey ends with a smoky blend that includes notes of Lapsang Souchong tea to produce the comforting aromas of a warm log fire.

When lit for the first time, a Jo Loves Christmas Layered Candle should burn for around two hours so that the top layer of wax melts completely, creating an even layer for future burns.

The Jo Loves Christmas Layered Candle has been designed to celebrate the aromas of the season with woody sweet and smoky notes presented in tiers.

How to Apply
"Caution: remove all packing including the candle lid. Keep out of reach of children & pets. Place on a heat resistant, level surface. Do not light if the glass is cracked or damaged and do not leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep the wick trimmed to 5mm. Stop using when 10mm of wax remains, or if the silver wick disc becomes visible. Keep the candle away from draughts and flammable materials. Keep the wax pool clear of debris such as match heads. Allow wax to harden before moving. Take care when extinguishing the flame. Ensure candles are at least 15cm apart and allow ample headroom for the heat from the flame."

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Allergic reaction? I've loved Diptyque candles for a while and only recently become a little obsessed with Jo Loves ones. I particularly like their design, the flame creates a gorgeous creamy glow through the white glass. I already loved the log fires and fig trees candles and was keen to try the scents of Christmas trees and plum pudding in this one (got the slightly smaller size in the Space NK advent calendar). Whilst I love the scent, the Christmas Trees layer seemed to give me some sort of reaction with the smell really catching on my throat and my chest getting tight when I burnt it. Very strange as I don't usually respond like this to candles and a real shame as I do think it's a lovely fragrance. Unfortunately I enjoyed it unlit but once I felt ill I obviously started to go off it!

The scents are beautiful, my favourite being the fir tree. Despite literally being lit every evening in December it’s still going strong. A really lovely treat.

He was delighted with this gift, the mirror packaging is gorgeous, the Christmas tree scent is very realistic, my favourite is plum pudding , but I do prefer feu de bois by diptyque over the log fire scent in this layer , overall very happy

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Christmas in a jar! Originally bought the Christmas Trees and Log Fires but this was just as good. The most authentic fir tree and log fire scent around ! Would definitely recommend to a friend and have bought a few as gifts and kept more than I should for myself!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A feast for the senses! This is an absolutely lovely candle - 3 scents for the price of one. The Jo Loves Christmas Trees scent is the ONLY fir tree scented candle that in my opinion does not smell like an air freshener (and I include the likes of Diptyque and Charles Farris amongst the air freshener brigade). The other 2 scents are new to me and equally delicious.
