Rated 4 out of 5 by from great candle I've loved Diptyque candles for ages but only recently discovered the Jo Loves ones this year. I particularly like their design, the flame creates a gorgeous creamy glow through the white glass. Log fires was the first I tried, had a small 70g size, loved it and now have the full size. I've since tried fig trees which I also really like for a more subtle, fresh scent. However, the Jo Loves Christmas Trees candle seemed to give me some sort of reaction with the smell really catching on my throat and my chest getting tight when I burnt it. Very strange as I don't usually respond like this to candles and a real shame as I do think it's a lovely fragrance. Unfortunately it has made me a little wary of the whole range now, wondering how natural the ingredients are.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too smokey for my liking I know that it might seem strange to complain that the fragrance of a candle called Log Fires is too smokey but that's my opinion of this candle. I love the smell of a real fire in winter but this leans too heavily on the smokiness of the fire and I would have preferred it to be more balanced with the woodsiness of the logs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it We live in a new build home which as much as I love it, it just seems to lack a little something in the winter with no fireplace this candle really makes up for it you can smell it right through the house and makes us feel soo cosy we don't miss a fire at all and so much cleaner

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This scent sits better in the layered candle I recieved this candle in a gift with purchase and enjoyed burning this candle (only for winter months) however I always felt it lacked something in the scent. Then I opened the advent calendar and found the Christmas layered candle in day 24. This scent is much better in this candle, you have a complete christmas/winter feeling as you go through the candle layers. I recommend this scent within the layered candle rather than on its own.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A lovely candle but not Jo Loves best This is a lovely candle, though I don't think it's very strong. I have two burning in my bedroom and the fragrance isn't as strong as I would like compared to Jo Loves Christmas trees which is just the very best candle on the market for scent and lasting smell. That said I agree with the previous reviews about the scent being very realistic and not sweet like so many "fireside" candles.
