Good but not my favourite
This is a nice hair oil, smells nice and feels lightweight in your hair. I do prefer others I think the olaplex one makes my hair feel more nourished and is of a similar price point to this oil. I’m not sure I’d repurchase but I will use up the oil that I have left

Sam McKnight nourishing oil
The hair by Sam McKnight love me do nourishing oil is incredible. A little goes a long way so this little bottle is going to last a very long time. My hair is bleached to smithereens then painted pink and I feel like it’s saved the ends of my hair. I started using it after a week at centre parcs with my boys as being in the pool had made my hair straw like. Not what I’m going for. This rescued it! I’ll never be without!

The first product of this brand I can not give 5* It is good, do not get me wrong, and probably if it wasn’t Sam McKnight, I would give 5. This brand is insanely good. And the oil doesn’t wow me.

What do you want your oil to do?
I’ve loved Sam’s products but I couldn’t get on with this oil. I want a hair oil to make my hair feel soft and add some shine ( and smell good!) Beware this feels and sounds like water in the container. The top allows drops to come out. I couldn’t get the amount right for me. It didn’t make my hair feel as soft as my usual oil, so I added more but this just gave me oily looking hair that was limp. Tried it several times but just gave it away.

Gorgeous smell.
I purchased this oil as I’m obsessed with Hair by Sam McKnight fragrance they use in their products. This oil is okay, I put it as a finish to soften some curls or define my straightened hair. It’s nice consistency not to thick not to watery and leaves your hair looking healthy.
