Great 2ND for low porosity Type 4c Coily Hair
Hair Type: Low porosity type 4c Coily Hair (Thick/coarse) In the beginning I didn't really like it on it's own as I felt it didn't thoroughly clean my hair and I struggled to get it to lather .However I have found since improving my hair care routine and using it as a second cleanser after my clarifying shampoo, I have come to enjoy and see the benefits of it. Because it's the second cleanse your hair is sort of clean and it lathers a lot easier .It leaves my hair feeling hydrated as well as soft after the cleaning .I feel if you have my hair type you really have to drench your hair and it's better to use a a second cleanse as the cleansing agent is quite mild . The smell is quite unique. I think because I am used to having afro haircare products smelling like coconut or cocoa butter it caught me off guard. I actually like the smell . It smells like a lemon curd in a good way / refreshing way .If you have a looser curly type or you have finer hair I think this will work well for you on it's own. But I do really like it and would repurchase. I brought the mini and once I finish I will but the bigger size.

Great for coily hair
This is my second bottle. First time I bought it gave a 3 star and said it was nothing speciall. But when I used it all, missed it. Has a nice smell, cleans the hair well and it does not weight it down. Now gave it 4 star insted of 5 because there are better shampoos like Virtue curl shampoo but it is very expensive.

Decent not great
have wanted to order this product for some time and finally took the plunge. The 100ml size is enough to try out for about 3-4 washes and enough to determine whether you like it or not. Does not lather (think of it like a co-wash). I found that I needed to use quite a bit to get it moving through my hair but they felt pretty clean afterwards

Can be heavy on finer hair
My hair is very curly but fine and can be quite fussy to deal with. This shampoo is great for detangling and made my hair really soft but unfortunately weighed it down a bit too much, so this is probably a better fit for coarser hair types. Smells lovely!

My fault
Ok, I admit I was hoping it would work for me and the reason it hasn’t is because I don’t have curls (mostly, my hair is weird) and I’m just hopeful and will try anything. I adore the conditioner/hair mask and I was hoping this would be another product that would work but for obvious reasons it just wasn’t for me. I enjoy the scent but it can be overwhelming.
