Rated 2 out of 5 by Star27 from Made my hair feel drier! I was excited to try this as I love coconut, smells amazing in the bottle but once emulsified into hair the scent disappears it’s so weird (I was hoping my it would leave my hair smelling of coconut). I also found this made my hair feel drier, my hair is long, medium density, it’s lightened and heat damaged, it’s meant to be for frizzy hair I can’t see how it would be any good frizzy and potentially thicker hair types if it doesn’t even moisturise my hair, I did use with the Thirsty Girl conditioner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jam Mistress Jen from Coconut-scented vegan shampoo good for thick, dry hair I use vegan beauty products and found out that this brand is vegan (though it didn't originally come up in the Space NK vegan search). This is an Australian brand and you can almost smell the beach in this shampoo. It is unequivocally coconut scented and the shampoo is an accompaniment for the matching conditioner. It works well in making my thick, curly/kinky (but straightened) hair sit down and chill out!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Beautyfiend from Didn't Tame the Frizz I have pretty difficult coarse but very fine hair and the main issue that I face us frizz. I've already tried two of the IGK shampoos that did a really good job nourishing and controlling my hair. This one however did nothing to help with the frizz. It was OK - it didn't hurt my hair but it doesn't compare to the other two shampoos that I previously used. It's fine if you all you want is clean hair but not sure why it's marketed for frizzy hair.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MVB from Good, but not great For reference, I have damaged hair - coloured, keratin treatment and using hot tools on the daily(ish). I bought this shampoo as it sounded great on paper and exactly what my hair needed. I have so far used about half of the bottle and it is definitely not one of my favourites. It does a good job of cleansing your scalp without stripping your hair, but as other reviewers have said you really need to use far too much of it and definitely shampoo twice to get it to clean your whole head of hair. However, I do notice my hair feels lighter and less textured and even feels like it dried faster (if that is possible). I am not a massive fan of the scent, but I don't hate it either and it really doesn't linger anyway. Unfortunately, my hair seems to get oilier with this shampoo as well, usually no more than 24 hours after washing and it's already almost ready to wash again, so I tend to use it on days where I can afford to skip washing my hair. All in all, I do not see myself buying this again, but I do not hate it either as I think it would work really well for people with dry scalp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PeridotGal from Thirsty Girl Coconut Shampoo I bought this for holiday thinking it would be ideal to use. It smells amazing and initial thoughts were positive. However I found that it didn’t lather well into my thick hair, I had to use quite a lot of product. It made my hair quite oily so next time I used it I used less which did help. I probably wouldn’t repurchase.
