This foundation can be used in a multitude of ways, from sheer to full coverage, to contour and highlight, and to conceal imperfections.
Full Coverage:
1. Dot 3 triangular dots in the center of both sides of the face
2. Buff in with the Vanish Seamless Finish Foundation Brush in tiny circular motions
3. To use as a concealer, dot 3 triangular dots under each eye and blend using a stippling and buffing motion with a brush
Sheer-Medium Coverage:
1. Lightly dot foundation where needed such as chin, forehead, center of face
2. Buff in tiny circular motions with a brush
3. To use as a concealer, lightly dot foundation under the eyes as needed and blend with the ring finger in a gentle tapping motion
Contour/Highlight:
1.CONTOUR:
Choose shade 1-2 shades deeper than your natural skin tone and dot 3 triangular dots of contour color under the cheekbones, along the sides of the nose, temples of the forehead and along the jawline. Blend in a stippling and circular buffing motion.
2.HIGHLIGHT:
Choose shade 1-2 shades lighter than your natural skin tone and dot 3 triangular dots under the eyes, along the tops of the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and chin. Blend in a stippling and circular buffing motion with a brush.

handy for on the go
I wouldn't have said before that I'm an "Hourglass girl" but I realized I do have a number of their products and they are all excellent. I was especially impressed by this and their concealer lately. In my opinion there aren't enough good stick foundations out there. It's probably because in the past most of them were and are bad so we don't tend to buy them. This and the Bobbi Brown stick are definitely worth having in your kit though. I can toss them in my makeup bag and not worry about them spilling or breaking. This is blends so well, it's very creamy. My skin is quite dry right now because of prescription tretinoin so to be able to smoosh this on and blend it out is really saying something. The only thing I'd say though is this comes up quite dark. My colour was alabaster and normally I woudn't be so close the lightest in the shade range. I'm fair but not ultra fair.

Great coverage
My previous hourglass concealer was discontinued much to my dismay. I’ve searched for a replacement for ages until I found this one! I know it’s meant to be a foundation but it works so well as a spot concealer. Easy blends. A matte finish. Perfection!

Happy with it
Blends well on the skin and easy to use. Will need setting and spraying to make it last but overall good product. Can be used as foundation or concealer. Very creamy formula and texture. Would recommend. What I liked about it the most is how convenient it is to have on the go. A lot easier to have a foundation stick in a makeup bag than a glass bottle

Skin like finish
so i finally tried this, i personally love this but have a couple reccomendations. i have dry skin with a little texture, when i tested this on my unprepped face, the product took a bit longer to work into the skin. however this comes alive when ive just done my skincare and while my skin still feels soft and moisturised i will dot this foundation around the face and use a buffing brush. sometimes i spray a moisturising spray over the top and blend. it can be built up and is a really nice skin like finish. i wouldnt say its as slippy as i would like so make sure there is some moisture on the skin either primer or sprays / skincare so it glides smoothly.

Great all rounder
I keep coming back to this foundation as it does it all. A great, long-lasting base, covers discolouration, doesn’t cause breakouts on my acne-prone skin, easy to blend, easy to keep light or to build up more coverage. Pores are minimised, spots are covered, it doesn’t settle into creases. I apply it directly with a few swipes then blend with Space NK’s foundation brush. Leaves skin with a nice, very subtle glow.
