Meh
I can't claim to be an expert in loose powders, but living in a humid climate with oily, sweaty skin in the summer has led me to try various products. I decided to give Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder a shot based on the brand's reputation and the numerous positive reviews. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the results. The powder made my makeup look cakey and I could feel it sitting on my face. Considering the high price for the amount of product, I believe there are better options available and the product doesn't live up to the hype.

Perfect powder
I purchased the travel size before the full size and I’m now converted to this powder. It’s expensive, no doubt about it but it seems to be the only formula that’s not cakey. It also doesn’t irritate my hormonal skin and is not heavy. Makes your makeup look flawless.

Beautiful but expensive
I love Hourglass and have loved most everything I've tried from them but they are just so expensive. This is a beautiful lightweight powder that takes down shine on the skin without making it look dull and lifeless and you can almost not feel it on the skin it's so light. Just wish the brand was more accessible price wise but if you can afford its worth it

Lovely
This is a really good setting powder. I have dry skin and after a few hours my makeup can sometimes look cakey but since I’ve been using this my makeup looks perfect and lasts all day. It settles onto the skin nicely and looks very natural, almost undetectable. It’s definitely worth the price for me. As usual with Hourglass products the packaging and product are really good quality. I’ll definitely keep buying this one.

Beautiful face powder
This is such a stunning face powder. The powder is finely milled and applies so smoothly to the skin. I really like how blurring it makes me skin look, without my skin feeling cakey or heavy with product. I don’t use a lot as i only place it around my t-zone areas generally. I find this makes my makeup look perfected however the main downfall of this product is the price. Fortunately I snagged this powder in a set with a double ended brush which made it a pretty good deal. This is definitely one of the more bougie face powders and there’s definitely others that are excellent for a fraction of the price. But if you like luxury products this is really lovely to try.
