Best eyeliner
This is a lovely consistency, very creamy and pigmented but does not transfer. It is my favourite eyeliner as it feels in between a liquid/cream and a pencil in terms of its colour payoff (can be smudged but also can be used for a more clean line). Would completely recommend.

Smooth eyeliner
This is a sublime kohl pencil, I just wish I knew how to wear kohl without it smudging. It's so easy to glide on and create a perfect wing but it doesn't last well at all. This doesn't stop me using it though amd I have repurchased thrice! It's quite expensive but I do love it. Its super soft and creamy in texture and is the blackest black.

A bit too brown but an amazing liner
I am a self-confessed Chantecaille devotee, I generally love all their products and would a lot more of them if I could afford it. I have used these eyeliners in other colours in the past, and love them. They are very soft, and therefore blendable, which is what I wanted. The quality of the pigment is excellent but that means that some of them are very dark - and I would say that this is one of those colours that actually was too dark and I didn;t get enough "plum" from it unless I blend it out, or apply softly. I have got the hang of it now and can use it perfectly, but you do need to play around to work out how best to make it work for you in different ways

Disappointing
Years ago I bought a Chantecaille eyeliner in a shade called 'Olive Brocade' - I love it but then it seemed to have been discontinued or at least I couldn't seem to find it anywhere. I was delighted when I discovered it on the Space NK website and quickly bought it - however it is not a patch on the original. The version has much more glitter in it - which rapidly drops onto the under eye area and smudges any concealer or foundation.
