Very basic mascara
This mascara did separate my lashes and didn’t clump them together like others I’ve used, and it gave a fair bit of length but nothing impressive. If you’re after a simple or basic and natural look to your eyelashes then this might be ok, but I personally prefer more length, volume, curl, fluttery lashes that give the effect of wearing falsies without actually wearing them, so this is definitely not for me.

Gentle even on sensitive eyes
Like so many Chantecaille products the Faux Cils longest lash mascara is actually nourishing, as well as doing the job of lengthening lashes. Even when my eyes or skin are sensitised the mascara doesn’t bother me. It coats the lashes smoothly and evenly, and doesn’t get clumpy. Is it worth it? Yes. Is it a bit of a stretch, price-wise? Also yes. Will I buy it again? Definitely.

Great mascara
Love this mascara, it’s natural looking, not clumpy, and adds awesome length and some volume. It’s a beautiful natural look and it’s not heavy on the lashes at all. Docking one star for price….I know Chantecaille is luxury but this is still just mascara

Expensive but worth it
This Chantecaille mascara gives you super long, fluttery lashes. If you’re after very thick, heavily made up lashes, then this isn’t for you. The mascara coats the lashes evenly and is non-clumping. Smells a bit like roses too. It does smudge, flake or transfer either. Unfortunately, it costs a lot, but it’s soooo good. Highly recommended and I will definitely repurchase.

The best
What more can you say - it’s the best all round mascara amongst the pack. Reliable to give great length but also separates without the clumping. It’s also reliable to lift the lashes too. I go between this one, and the other Chantecaille mascara, but this one is the best. And, importantly, the ingredients of this product are good too. I wish there were more colours, but I suppose that would involve more ingredients which I know isn’t in the ethos of the brand.
