I am a big fan of Dr.Jart ’s Ceramidin range and this barrier cream is no exception. This is a smooth and nourishing cream that leaves my skin feeling super moisturised for hours, which is exactly what my dehydrated skin needs. It helps repair my barrier when during cold months or after I have over-exfoliated. The value for money is great, too! This in combination with the Ceramidin Mist is your barrier repair dream duo!

Barrier repair idol
After moving back to the UK after many summers in warmer weather, this moisturiser completely healed my very damaged skin barrier. I used it as a balm, so in conjunction with a light moisturiser, and it completely transformed my skin. It’s the first thing I reach for when my skin is having a wobble. Nourishing without being overpowering.

Heavy cream
I bought this because I had upset my skin from using too many acids and retinol. It helped repair my skin and sooth it but I wouldn't recommend it for regular use as it is a really thick cream. I found that when I used on my skin when it was in good condition, it brought me out in some blemishes. So I do recommend this, but in small doses and for barrier/skin repairing.

This is a great thick cream. I use it in hot and cold weather, really good at protecting the skin barier. No fragrance, it's really gentle. If you have reactive skin this might be a great choice for you. My skin is combination, oily t-zone and it does not break me out. I don't use this everyday, but when I need some extra moisture I reach for this. Heavy but great.

I love the old formula- not sure about this one
I'm gutted that the formula has changed- the old one was literally the best cream ever when it came to healing skin, moisturising, and making my face feel soft and nourished. It was my go-to when trying to avoid stronger ingredients. The formula has recently changed, and I feel like it doesn't give me that nourished, soft skin any longer. However, it's still miles ahead of other ceramide creams, such as Good Cera.
