This is my second bottle of using DDG dark spot serum and I noticed some lightening effect on my dark spots. It is taking a long time , but I guess I just have to be persistent in using this. It is very easy to use and the dropper adds a big bonus. This is a must have in my night time routine and can't live withoiut it!

I really like the texture of this, the fact it absorbs well and isn’t greasy and even though it has that not massively lovely vit c serum smell it isn’t fragranced which I also like. With continued use it has made my skin brighter. My issue is that it makes skin look orange and there’s no way I could use this as a day serum as well as might, it just wouldn’t work. And at night it stains bedding and pjs. The colour on my skin would stop me buying it again.
A little improvement
AS the title of the review would suggest I have seen a little improvement in the melasma and hyperpigmentation on my skin but if im honest not enough to warrant the price tag of this product and I have had much better results with some of the other brands Space NK stocks such as Allies if Skin whose vitamin C products have really made a difference.

NOT THAT IMPRESSED
Received a 7ml sample and was quite excited to try this out, however I'm not too impressed. I don't have dark sports but I do use vitamin C regularly. This serum is really dark in colour and has an odd. almost Coca Cola type of smell. It tints the face a bit orange and can feel a bit sticky after application. I haven't noticed really any brightening effects yet, but perhaps those can still come. Overall though it's not something I'd buy as a full size.
sticky and medicinal smell
I received a bottle of this for my spacenk birthday gift and I was excited to try it since I like the other products from dr. dennis gross. I feel like it is working because the hyperpigmentation that I do have is starting to fade but it does take a while to sink into the skin. It also leaves the skin feeling sticky and has a slightly medicinal smell. I don't know how this could be used during the day but it seems to work well enough for evening use.
