To keep skin feeling comfortable, the formula pairs retinol with moisturising squalane, a lightweight, naturally occurring oil that helps reduce the dryness often associated with vitamin A. Apply a small amount to your face in the PM as part of your skincare routine, after water-based hydration serums but before heavier treatments, such as moisturiser. Always wear SPF the following morning.
Caution: Retinol can cause irritation, redness and peeling, especially around the eyes and mouth, in the early stages of treatment while skin builds tolerance. If persistent irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician.
Do not use with other retinoid treatments. Do not use when pregnant or breastfeeding. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children. Refrigerate after opening and use within three months.
