Luxurious serum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was extremely excited to try Augustine’s Bader’s The Retinol Serum. Unfortunately, I waited quite a while to receive it. My shipment was delayed by weeks. The packaging and royal blue and copper container is quite lovely, with a bonus stand that adds to the luxurious product. Upon first use, the serum is unscented, lightweight and absorbs quickly. I only use it at night before bedtime and then applied a thick moisturizer as my last step. Even though I haven’t been using this that long I can see visible differences in deep wrinkles on my forehead. As far as effectiveness as a whole, I strongly hope within a month’s more time I’ll definitely notice if it truly helps with minimal hyperpigmentation on my cheeks as well. I’ve had no issues with any skin interactions. It appears to be very gentle unlike some other retinol’s I’ve used where I start peeling after a week. I know it’s a little bit pricey, but I’m willing to buy more if it truly does ultimately continue to help with wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. It does make it even more of a treat in my nightly skin routine.
