Designed for use in high UV intensity sun exposure, this body lotion is formulated with patented Institut Esthederm Adaptasun technology to target skin at a cellular level and help prepare for extended periods of time spent in the sun.

The active ingredients help to optimise the cell energy environment and work to protect cell DNA to facilitate ongoing regeneration, while the sensitive formula promotes the activation of the skin’s own melanin response for a faster, long-lasting tan.

When applied in advance of sun exposure, the formula’s anti-inflammatory properties can help to soothe sensitive skin, while the lotion works to reduce visible sun ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles. Re-application every two hours is recommended during sun exposure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My absolute favourite sun lotion I have now used Institut Esthederm for around 5 years and have continued to love all of their products from day one; I am completely converted! The smell of their sun lotion is beautiful and reminds me of tropical paradises. It applies easily and effectively and I do not burn whilst wearing it - tried and tested under Australian sun! I tan well anyway, but have always had prickly skin reactions to the heat and suncream which this is very effective at avoiding; I am now so much more comfortable in the sun and have a beautiful tan to go along with it. Amazing product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Protection I have a very fair, photo sensitive skin and have always had to find good protection. A doctor friend of mine recommended Institute Estederm and I have used their products ever since. I have also had two bouts of cancer in the last six years. All of that means that I must be more careful than most people. So it must be really good protection if it works for me. As far as the tanning is concerned, I turn a faint tinge of beige, but that’s a bonus. It’s the protection that I really value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sun cream! I bought this sunscreen a month ago having been recommended to try it. I bought the sensitive version as I am fair skinned and burn easily. I was impressed, did not turn red or pink as usual but acquired a lovely golden brown tan. Smells lovely and rubs into skin easily. Will buy again!

I took this on holiday with me last year, I decided to try this because I’m quite fair and I do struggle to tan naturally but I didn’t notice any difference maybe I needed to use it for longer luckily it did protect my skin I didn’t burn. I used the the bronz impulse everyday for two weeks before and the reapplied this product every 2 hours and used the after sun. It was a nice product but for me I didn’t notice any difference using this than any other suncare. Maybe I needed to use it for longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Liked it, but didn’t LOVE it I bought this as I suffer really badly from prickly heat. I was torn between this one and the sun intolerance one but having read the instructions of the other bottle, it’s basically to prep your skin and you need to move onto this one anyway. Given the cost, I couldn’t afford both so just opted for this one as reviews seemed encouraging. I liked it, but I just didn’t love it. The smell was strong which surprised me given it’s made for sensitive skin. It was almost reminded me of my grandmas perfume! Did it help my prickly heat? I think so? It’s hard to tell. I have a pretty strict run regime to avoid those prickly bumps and I did see the start of them at one point and swiftly removed myself from the sun for a few days. My tan was good (natural red head but do tan on my body) and on the final day I didn’t apply anything as I wasn’t sunbathing but still out and about and magically didn’t burn despite 33 degree heat. Perhaps it did help my skin adjust to the sun - although I wouldn’t try that again! Might but again but think there are other products that work as well, for less!
