How to Apply

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply immediately after swimming, sweating or towel drying or at least every 2 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Louie from Eco friendly and effective! I have been using this for a while now and won’t be buying anything else soon. I have sensitive skin which doesn’t take to most sunscreens. This one leaves my skin hydrated, smooth, not irritated and very happy - as well as being kind to the environment by being reef safe. Sunscreens leave me with breakouts and redness - this does not. It is a high spf, which is great too. Make-up goes on fab - no impact their either. A good base and no chalkiness - so doesn’t affect foundations or concealers colour. I highly recommend this.

I’ve tried countless sunscreens over the years and have never found one that wasn’t oily and greasy or left some kind of film on the face. Also with mineral sunscreens they all left a white cast. I was amazed to find this one was neither. The texture is really nice, it’s moisturising but not greasy and has no white cast whatsoever. SPF 45 is also high enough for my daily sunscreen. I can’t say enough good things about it and am so glad to have found it.

I have very fair, sensitive, rosacea prone skin and trawl through ingredients on some so called mineral sunscreens for irritants and hormone disruptives. This does contain traces of essential oils like rose, mint and citrus which can be irritating but I haven't had any reaction as yet. It does contain a good active balance of Titanium Dioxide and Zinc as a mineral sunscreen and a lot of helpful antioxidant and anti-aging ingredients. It blends in really easily without dragging and the clown face look, although I am very pale so couldn't say for darker skins if it would be ashy. However it certainly blends in quicker than any other physical mineral sunscreen I've used - and I've tried a LOT of them ! It's also not greasy, gives a satin matte finish and will take make-up on top quite happily. I'm so used to looking like an oil slick all summer it's been wonderful to just pop a bit of concealer or a tinted moisturiser on top and know it's not going to slide off my face. It is expensive but I think it's worth it, going into lockdown I wasn't able to get my usual organic brands that are more basic physical sunscreens but cheaper and without the irritants that many 'mineral sunscreens' marketed at sensitive skins contain. I'm so glad I took a chance on this as I love it and no flare-ups ! If you have sensitive skin and want something that works and has some skin care give it a try. I will be re-purchasing.

I've switched to mineral sunscreens after I became very sensitive to my usual sunscreen, which had a combination of physical and chemical ingredients. I did try Ren's Clean Screen SPF but sadly it left a white cast. With brighter days, I wanted a mineral sunscreen with a higher SPF. So glad I took a chance and ordered this! It suits my combination, hyper-pigmented skin well, absorbs fairly quickly and does not leave a white cast! For reference I'm about an NC42/Estee Lauder Cashew, Fenty foundation shade 300). It feels quite thick and creamy when it goes on, but I can't feel it on my skin now. In addition to all this, it's cruelty-free and reef safe, something I'd not appreciated until now. This is now my sunscreen of choice. The cost is worth it so treat yourself. Well done Soleil Toujours!

I have wasted so much money on high end brands in hope of something that my face would tolerate. Last summer I used ByTerry SPF 50 primer, which suited my skin but I somehow still got sun spots and a burnt forehead. It wasn’t really strong enough. I read reviews carefully and decided on this. There are only a few reviews for it but having used it consistently for 3 days, I agree that it is the best I have tried. It is more like a proper, thick sun cream than the By Terry primer but the protection is stronger. It takes a while to sink in, so best for no makeup days. If you have sensitive skin and want a really good sunblock for you face that moisturises and doesn’t irritate, then buy this!!!
