Quick absorption, dry oil
The theory behind using oil for combination skin is that your combination to oily skin identifies its presence as the protection it needs, whereas usually your skin compensates by overproducing sebum. So with the addition of an oil, the skin considers that it doesn’t need to secrete more sebum and therefore, it becomes less oily. Marula oil seemed a perfect candidate for my skin type and needs: a fine oil, with anti-aging properties, however I was still reluctant to use it during the day and only tried the sample given to me for evenings only. I would say it's a dry oil that sinks in quickly. It didn't break me out but I didn't find it any better than using a cream to seal in moisture like LRP cicaplast baume.

Pricey but worth it
I love Drunk Elephant’s Marula Oil. It makes my face look so radiant and hydrated in the morning when I use it before bed. It's light and has no scent, which is really nice.
