Simply the most gorgeous scent ever -well nearly!
Bal D'Afrique -very hard to beat. Wonderful warm scent with plenty of interest and soft layers to it -basically super easy to wear day or night, casual or smart. I utterly love it and the Eau De Parfum lasts incredibly well too. I love to layer it with the hair perfume for evenings out but my favourite way of wearing it has to be the hand cream -at night so I can lay my head on my hands and drift off to sleep enveloped in glorious scent!! So indulgent...

All time favorite
This was the first high-end perfume I ever bought. I think it’s one of the most popular perfumes in Byredo line. It smells citrusy at the begging, then fruity (there is no fruits notes though). Best suitable for spring/summer. Also I smell marigold here, so if you like such notes, you would definitely be in love with this perfume!

Not my choice
I have a sample of this popular fragrance and it was very interesting to try it myself. Well, I didn’t get the hype about it. It’s a fresh fruity fragrance, little bit sweet. After a while, the sweetness becomes stronger, and the freshness goes away, so it becomes heavier and feels not very nice today, the hot summer morning. Maybe it would behave better on the colder days, but today I’m not very impressed with it.

Interesting notes
I blind bought this as I couldnt really decide which Byredo fragrance to go for. This is one of their cult classics together with Gypsy Water and Blanche. I knew what Gypsy Water smelled like so I thought I'd go for this one. At first, I wasn't really sure, the vetiver note is quite strong but it's very nicely complemented by the African marigold. The more I wear it, the more I actually like it. It's definitely unique, I haven't got anything like it in my collection so definitely will be using this a bit more. It might smell different on me when the weather gets colder but at the moment, I do like it but just not quite head over heels about it.

THIS IS THE BEST!
I love this perfume sooooooo much! I first saw it is when I traveled to France and I did not buy it for the first time. And after I back home, I can not forget this particular smell! So I go to SPACE NK and bought it immediately! I wore it every day but I am so afraid it ran out!
