OK but not great, very overpriced

I used a full size of this from a Space NK luxury beauty kit, and am somewhat underwhelmed. This has a water-like texture in a dropper bottle. It is hard to control application unless you wish to go the wasteful route of applying with palms rather than fingertips - at this price, no thanks. I found it quite mild, and had to use more than I would normally of a vitamin C serum. It was just about OK for maintenance but gave no improvement at any quantity used. At least I did not experience any reaction to this, but again that is probably because it is very mild. I would not buy it again as it was less effective than the Sunday Riley I use most often, and not as pleasant to use as the Oskia capsules, but ml for ml is double the price of the Sunday Riley. I can only see this being worth the cost for someone who hates the feel of a more substantial serum or oil, and actually wants a texture like water. Before you buy also note that this only contains 20ml for £100. Most full size vitamin C serums contain 30ml, so the equivalent amount of this actually costs you £150!

Is it just water?

I’ve just begun using it. So far it seems like it’s just water. Is a serum supposed to that clear and watery? I even tasted it on the tip of my tongue and absolutely no flavor or reaction, actually it was just like ... water. I had a small paper cut on my finger tip ~ dropped a couple of drops on it and expected a reaction since it supposedly has ascorbic acid/vitamin C, yet, nothing. I will get in touch with the company to see if I got a bottle of water.

Costly but works

First thing to point out I got this in one of the space nk beauty boxes so I did not pay full price for this product that being said, I did not expect to be blown away by this product but I have recently had a hormonal breakout on my chin area and a week afterwards the acne marks are hardly visible at all, I have been using a retinol every other night which has also helped but I have never gotton rid of scarring so quickly. The price of this is prohibitive, of that there is no doubt but I would consider buying it again if there was a discount on it or it went into another beauty box.

It’s effective

Bought this to try n was surprised that it really worked well for my dark spots n some uneven areas on my face especially around chin n jawline n checks n I noticed that my darkness has reduced a lot n my skin looked even out n smooth! Its costly but it worked on my skin

Great for dark spots n pigmentation

Got this after reading good reviews about this serum. N found out it does work v well for the dark spots n uneven skin tone. U need to apply regularly on clean n dry face. It’s quite liquidy so make sure it should absorb into your skin properly n thn u can apply your moisturiser n thn SPF.Even though it’s expensive but it’s worth it!
