Summary of Customer Ratings & Reviews
Just average
Like many people, I set out to find myself the Vit C product of my dreams. I tried a LOT in quick succession and have to say this was one of the less effective and more expensive. I learned that the right Vit C product can live up to the hype, but they are few and far between. This serum absorbed well, worked with other products (no pilling), brightened my skin (for a couple of hours) and that's about it. Too expensive in comparison to more effective serums that are out there.
Very pleased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it, I have been using Dr. Sturm and your product is so much better. I have been using for at least 2 weeks. My skin is bright and glowing. Highly recommend.

Struggling
Based on the 4 to 5 star review, I chose this product in good faith. In all my hears as a loyal customer, this is genuinely the first product which presents itself as zero value add and no evident benefits. I am genuinely struggling to understand what it does and how it feels. The bottle is nicely presented. The content feels like water and the results.........well I have continued to use for weeks. I see no change either on application, nor Cumulatively. Really not worth the price tag nor anything cheaper. Sorry but a complete no go for me.
OK but not great, very overpriced
I used a full size of this from a Space NK luxury beauty kit, and am somewhat underwhelmed. This has a water-like texture in a dropper bottle. It is hard to control application unless you wish to go the wasteful route of applying with palms rather than fingertips - at this price, no thanks. I found it quite mild, and had to use more than I would normally of a vitamin C serum. It was just about OK for maintenance but gave no improvement at any quantity used. At least I did not experience any reaction to this, but again that is probably because it is very mild. I would not buy it again as it was less effective than the Sunday Riley I use most often, and not as pleasant to use as the Oskia capsules, but ml for ml is double the price of the Sunday Riley. I can only see this being worth the cost for someone who hates the feel of a more substantial serum or oil, and actually wants a texture like water. Before you buy also note that this only contains 20ml for £100. Most full size vitamin C serums contain 30ml, so the equivalent amount of this actually costs you £150!
Is it just water?
I’ve just begun using it. So far it seems like it’s just water. Is a serum supposed to that clear and watery? I even tasted it on the tip of my tongue and absolutely no flavor or reaction, actually it was just like ... water. I had a small paper cut on my finger tip ~ dropped a couple of drops on it and expected a reaction since it supposedly has ascorbic acid/vitamin C, yet, nothing. I will get in touch with the company to see if I got a bottle of water.
