Silky effect

It is a nice powder and it gives your skin a lightweight silk texture, it is not mortifying so I found it quite light without any blurring effect I think it will be suitable for those girls that prefer a glowy skin look. The colour is also nice, maybe yellowish if you are a natural skin tone I think it will be perfect.

Fab-u-lous powder

Tatcha .... my new favourite brand. I couldn't wait to try this gorgeous Silk Powder. I'm certainly not disappointed. It's so very light on the skin, so finely milled and invisible when applied. Leaves skin looking absolutely flawless. The packaging is great, once you figure out how the dispenser works.

Just lovely

I wanted to try this powder for SO long but I refused point blank to pay the taxes on it so I waited and very glad I did. Now I can buy Tacha whenever I like. The powder is lovely, lightweight and flawless. Easy to use with a sponge or brush. Awesome.

Finely milled

My first purchase from tatcha as I really wanted to try it out and I just ran out of my Laura Mercier powder. The packaging is really beautiful looking even to display on the vanity and the powder is really finely milled. The setting powder is a bit coloured but works well on my fair complexion and gives my skin a beautiful blurred finish.

Does not work with my fair neutral/cool undertoned skin

I bought a travel sized Tatcha Silk Powder in order to achieve a blurred "no-powder" look. The Tatcha Silk Powder is extremely finely milled. Unfortunately, I cannot attest to its properties as a subtle setting powder due to the coloration of the substance, which looked really obvious on my skin tone. For reference, I usually use the lightest neutral or cool shade available of foundation/concealer/powder. Another reviewer referenced The Silk Powder surpassing the Laura Mercier setting powder which is perhaps a bit less yellow (and thus a bit more wearable for me) than the Silk Powder. I don't like the Laura Mercier one either for several reasons, the coloration being one of them. I would imagine the best match for The Silk Powder would be people with warm undertones and light-to-medium skin tone, but that is unfortunately all that I can confidently say about it, as wearing it would have made me look ill or at least extremely ridiculous. It made me look next to jaundiced. The not-so-subtle yellow undertones truly surprised me, because from what I had understood, The Silk Powder with its measly one shade is marketed as next-to-translucent and suitable for all skin tones. The beige-coloured substance in the pictures on spacenk.com does not resemble the powder’s colour in real life. In reality, it is much more yellow and a) too dark and b) too warm for my fair neutral/cool undertoned skin.
