The best moisturiser I’ve ever used

It doesn't have any harsh, unnecessary ingredients such as fragrance, and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. Since using this (daily for 2 weeks) the quality of my skin looks better i.e. looks brighter, younger and healthier. It's moisturizing and has a nice rich texture (which in my experience is rare for a niacinamide containing product.) Doesn't make my skin oily. It looks well balanced. Looks amazing under makeup. Gives my skin a nice glow. At the time of buying this it's priced at 90 GBP, which is high. However, as it’s a rich creamy texture, I think it’s going to last longer than many of my other moisturisers which are thinner. Although I’ll see how I get on.

Best Use: Treat Pigmentation / Dark Spots, Barrier Repair, Reduce Dullness

Good but not worth the price

I received this as part of a sample, and on balance, it is a good cream and was suitable for my oily and sensitive skin. However, the price point might be a bit steep. It layers well over products/serums. Overall, if you can afford a super pricy cream on an everyday basis, go for it!

Not worth the price

I have in my possession lots of Hourglass makeup products but this is the first skin product that I have tried. I was given a sample with an order. I was happy to receive it and I did like it but I could not justify the price. Unfortunately the sample was very small and although I saw some benefits - I like the way it hydrated my skin - I could not say it was worth the high price. I do not value it above other brands that are cheaper.

Best Use: Hydrating, Anti-Aging

broke me out

I received a sample of this product with my order. It felt nice on my skin, it had a lovely texture, very rich. Unfortunately it broke me out. For this reason, I will not purchase it. I am sure it will be good for someone with less problematic skin type.

Hydrating cream

This cream has a rich texture similar to a ceramide cream and a lot of barrier creams. I think this will work best for normal to dry skin types it’s much too rich for my oily t-zone. It also takes a lot of time to absorb into skin, has a dewy finish and feels sticky until fully absorbed. I could only use this at night as my final layer my spf and base just don’t sit well applied on top. I have very sensitive combination skin and sadly this was too much for it, it does contain niacinamide which I can be sensitive to so that could be the issue. I didn’t use it long enough to see if it made a difference to my skin’s condition and I would recommend trying a sample first for sensitive or combination oily skin type. It has no added fragrance but has an odd scent from the ingredients not awful but not appealing either. Overall I feel this is a very mediocre cream especially for the price.
