Do you have sensitive skin?: Yes
I have been receiving Herbivore skincare here and there in all kinds of edits and usually they went with the cloud jelly line. Which is awkward as it doesn’t do anything. I have tried it for an extended period of time- texture is jelly and kind of milky, has a slightly sweet scent and can cause break outs on sensitive skins- keep in mind. Just not fo me.

A Fab Starter Set
I'd previously used the full-size moisturiser a few years back and loved it at the time, but hadn't tried anything else from the range. This was a fab set to try the other two products - I got on really well with both. Particularly the cleanser, the jelly-like consistency felt amazing on the skin and made my skin feel very fresh after use.

great set for testing out new brand
I had never tried this brand before, but wanted to as heard good things. All items are perfect sizes for travel or as a temporary trial from your usual skincare routine. Absolutely loved every product wtihin the set and would buy again - the products feel quite gentle while actually delivering results.

Good value kit, but underwhelming products
I'll admit, I got sucked into buying these products because of the adorable branding. It also seemed like the range was going to work well for my dry and sensitive skin, however I'm left quite underwhelmed. I'll start with my favourite, the serum: it's very runny which I like and soaks into the skin well, leaving it plump and hydrated. It has a pleasant, mild scent and layers well with other products. However it's nothing so special that I would buy it in full size as it's pretty pricey. The cleanser is just okay: the texture is more a gel than a jelly and the scent is quite peculiar. It did clean my skin well enough, though left it feeling a bit stripped. My least favourite is the cream, which I actually thought I'd like the most. Unfortunately it seemed to irritate my skin and I got some itchy bumps on my cheeks, so after a few tries I decided to use the rest on my body (which was fine). On my face the cream didn't feel very hydrating either but instead slightly drying and mattifying. Overall, not a huge success for me however I think if you like or want to try the products this kit is pretty good value. Although I will note that the packaging is glass - though beautiful, not the most travel friendly, which is actually for what I bought the products for.
I was very excited to get to try the cloud jelly hydrating serum. While I had previously tried the makeup remover and the moisturizer, I never got the chance to try the serum. I must say I was expecting much more hydration (tried it both with and without an accompanying mist). I loved the jelly texture and detested the dropper, and it did nothing for my combination skin in the summer.
