Not great as a sunscreen
I do like the Sol de Janeiro scents, so was looking forward to use this sample I received. The scent was lovely as always, however I found the texture very greasy and hard to absorb. Seeing as you need to use an adequate amount of sunscreen products to provide enough protection, I don’t believe you can use a lot of this lotion as the texture is rather sticky and unpleasant. Unfortunately I would not recommend especially as a sunscreen.

Not sure about this one!
I received a sample of this SPF50 body lotion so have only a limited amount of use with the product. I don’t agree with some of the reviews about the smell of the cream I found it perfectly acceptable. It is quite a sticky lotion to rub into the skin. The SPF mentioned on the front doesn’t seem to be born out by the aesthetic use only statement. I’m not sure what that means so wouldn’t trust it as a sunscreen.

Confusing
I received 2 generous samples of this body lotion and having enjoyed everything else I've tried from the brand I was looking forward to giving it a go but I was left disappointed and confused. As I've seen a few other reviewers highlight,does it actually provide SPF 50 as advertised? What does it mean by for aesthetic purposes only? The cream in itself is gloomy and hard to run in but this is common with sunscreens,it does not smell as good as other Sol products although it did impart my limbs with some radiance. I would give this a swerve, especially if intending to use it as an SPF.

Nice fragrance but not keen on texture
I'm a fan of the Bum Bum creams but this body moisturiser didn't seem to be as good. I really like the smell of the product but I found it a little thick and greasy - I don't know if it's because it has a SPF in it. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend or purchase this product.

new Summer must have
I tried a sample of this in my order recently and I was so pleasantly surprised by the scent and texture, it smells divine with a subtle and summery scent and applied beautifully leaving my skin feeling moisturised. With the added bonus of SPF it will be on my wish list for next summer!
